Introducing Mother Circle. An 8-week series to explore the unseen arc of motherhood. This is ideal for mothers in all stages of motherhood, educators, caregivers, people who work with mothers and any woman who is curious to know more about this transformational role.
I know it feels like a big commitment eight weeks, eight evenings, 8 bedtimes, eight other possibilities missed. Your time is valuable. I agree. So is this course. You’ll probably miss a class or two, it would be better if you didn’t ;) but I totally understand that you probably will and that’s one of the reasons why I am offering the course online concurrently so that I can provide each participant with a recording of the material.
Motherhood matters. The transformation you went through when you conceived and nurtured that human. The transformation your mother went through when you were born. The way we care for one another, it matters.
The first class is by donation for you to experience what it means to be a part of a mother circle, it is my gift to you. Your attentive presence is my only request. In it, you will explore our lineage, develop sensory language and practice breathwork. The topic for this first class is the 3 stages of a rite of passage and identifying yourself on a mythological journey into the underworld through the story of Inanna. I will offer thoughtful questions for small group discussion and facilitate larger group sharing to explore the material, closing with a poem.
I hope that you will leave feeling nourished and inspired to connect with and build your community. After class, you will choose whether or not you’re ready to continue the journey for 7 more weeks where we will explore cycles, body and nervous system needs, birth, sexuality, worth and your own personal mother code.
