Golden Bear Children's Centre, a leading child care center committed to providing a nurturing and safe environment for children, is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
· Perform general cleaning duties to ensure a clean and safe environment for children and staff.
· Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
· Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas.
· Maintain cleanliness in program rooms, play areas, and other designated spaces.
· Monitor and indicate when cleaning supplies need to be replenished.
· Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
· Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a well-maintained facility.
Qualifications:
· Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
· Ability to work independently and efficiently.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
· Good communication skills.
· Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position, five days a week, for four hours per day. The schedule may vary, but typical working hours are 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
