Vigil for PEACE

Tomorrow - Vigil for PEACE!

Sudays Dec. 17, 24 & 30th, 9-10 AM.  Let us gather intentionally to light candles in vigil for souls lost and to recognize and honour our collective grief around the world.

"We come to know people when we grieve with them through stories and ritual.  It is how we can build real solidarity, the kind that points us to the world we want to live in -- and our role in fighting for it, not against."  -- Valarie Kaur

Each week a 'Peace Talk or Topic' will be offered to the group of which discussion may or may not occur.  This is a safe, multi-disciplinary, inclusive space where all persepctives are welcome and with the collective willingness to truly listen, share and hold the utmost respect to each other.

Topics:
*Staying in Wonder & Curiosity
*Embodied Grieving
*To Fight for, Not against : Calls to Action

We will sing songs (you are welcome to lead a song too!) and mantras of Peace, and then sit in silent metta meditation, sending peace and love wherever it is needed.

All are Welcome. All ages welcome.

This is a free offering.
