Open House and Exhibit Launch at the Museum - Gold Mining to Gold Medals: A Century of Ski Racing in Rossland

February 10 3:00 to 5:30 pm

We're launching our new digital exhibit on the history of ski racing in Rossland!

This project has been a couple of years in the making and incorporates stories from more than a dozen local ski legends, so help us celebrate in style with an open house at the Museum. Gold Mining to Gold Medals: A Century of Ski Racing in Rossland explores the first century of ski racing in Rossland, beginning with Olaus Jeldness (1898) and ending with the sale of the Red Mountain Ski Club (1989).
Stop by the Museum from 3 to 5:30 pm on Saturday, February 10th to explore the new digital exhibit, share stories and memories, watch video interviews with some of our ski legends, and see some of the artifacts that have been included.

Snacks/refreshments provided. Entry by Donation.
